Coming Soon! Or, is it really the second half of TWENTY TWENTY-ONE already?!

It has been a looooong time since I’ve posted or updated here. I’m currently in the early stages of a complete online overhaul, after which I solemnly swear to be a better caretaker of this tiny corner of the internet.

I am working on dates for Fall Mini Sessions in Chapel Hill and possibly Durham, so please stay tuned. Better yet, please sign up HERE for my email list. I will only clutter your inbox to let you know about mini session dates or the occasional other special events.

In the meantime, I wanted to share a few images from a fun project I took on last year in the early (earlier than we realized. Crazy to think these were more than a year ago.) days of the pandemic. I called it Front Porch Portraits, and with it raised some money for PORCH. If you aren’t familiar with PORCH, they are a grassroots organization, begun right here in Chapel Hill/Carrboro, that is doing great work to serve the hungry in our communities, especially families and refugees. An essential organization, made even more essential in these extraordinary times. I enjoyed doing these so much. For some, it was a reason to finally put real clothes on. Some families embraced the barefoot and pjs all day reality of quarantine. And others infused their own creativity into their portraits. I loved every single one.

Many thanks to those who participated!
